And the worst blogger award goes to.....

me! I haven't blogged in like 2/3 months? Life has been one big haze of crazy, like legitimate crazy. But I'm back and I'm ready to fill my blog with loads of new posts.

Urban Decay First Impressions.

As always I'm very slow to jump on the bandwagon of make up purely because I always ask myself that silly question of 'do I really need this?' at the time the answer is always no but then a month of so later I give in and buy it. That is my life and I'm sure it always will, this leads us to the topic of todays post Urban Decay!

I knew I had to buy the Naked Basics because I have the Naked 2 and I'm in love and I love love love matte shades! And then I found the Flushed bronzer/highlight.blush palette and had to try it.

The colours in both are so pigmented and velvety and just glide on. The eye shadows are really easy to blend together and just look amazing, I think the Urban Decay shadows are slowly becoming my favourite eye shadows.

Now the colour names aren't overly inventive but they're certainly easy to remember! As for the other palette I don't even think they have names.

Now I haven't really played around with these too much but I've good expectations and this is after all only my first impressions! But no doubt these will feature in numerous posts after this.

Hello 2013!

Another year, more of the same? Let's hope not! I wasn't planning on making and new years resolutions because i NEVER stick to them but I'm really going to try this year and I mean that.

One; Stay positive!

I am the worst person in the world for worrying and thinking the absolute worst in situations and that is the Gods honest truth. 2012 wasn't exactly the best year in some aspects and so far the start of this one hasn't been either. The best thing I can do is think positive and not panic or worry about things until it's actually necessary.

Two; Look after my skin and hair!

This sounds pretty straight forward but I'm actually a little bad at this! I have a habit of leaving make up on when I sleep because I'm so tired and currently my skin is suffering! Also I work in retail so I spend a lot of my time working with money and then forget and touch my face, bad Sarah!
As for my hair I'm actually quite good at that, never forget heat protect and I use a lot of different products to help keep it healthy but not enough. I'm trying to grow it out so I'm going to try and use as little heat as possible to make it stronger, so far I've only curled it! (slight confession, I've not brushed it in two days either... I do have a reason though! I washed it last night and it's so fine that when it's wet i can't brush it and then I fell asleep and today well I had a 7am shift and got up late and just forgot?)

Three; Save money!

So so bad at saving, all my wages get spent each month, well what's left after I pay bills etc. This year I will do it differently, I've got my little pot and I've already started putting money in it. I actually saved almost £100 in the middle of last year but then beauty products called! I'm determined to save this year and keep saving, not sure what for but hey savings better than spending it all!

Four; Be healthy!

I eat whatever I feel like a do absolutely no exersize (other than walking). This year I will get healthy, I need to drink more water, exercise!! cut out junk food and sweets (major sweet tooth),actually eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, drink less tea and there's more to that as well.

I hope you all had a happy and safe new year and welcomed 2013 with opens arms. As everyone says 'new year,new me', don't do that it's silly, just make the real you better!

This year Santa brought me.....

Trying to get back into blogging again and I'll post way more in the new year. As a little kickstart back into it I thought I'd do a easy post, so without further ado here's what 'Santa@ got me for Christmas.

Of course I got beauty products, that just goes without saying really doesn't it? Got my MAC lipgloss set that I've been lusting after and my third MSF natural but I just love them so much.

I got them! I finally got my babies and i could not be happier because they fit perfectly and they are just so beautiful!! I'm scared to wear them right now because it's so rainy and horrible out and I don't want to get them dirty or ruin them.

These aren't presents from Santa but friends and family :). Got my favourite perfume from my best friend, my brother and his girlfriend got me a Vivabox which i'm so excited for and a Lush giftset and my other best friend got me Hello Kitty makeup brushes and the Next perfume because it smells like the incense in his house (:.

I also got this interesting present from my uncle and his girlfriend, and I must say I wasn't expecting it but it's actually a very handy dandy thing! I used it the other night and I love it!

I did get more presents but these are more things to do with fashion and beauty so I didn't include everything.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and I wish you all a fabulous and safe new year!

See you in 2013!!

I actually haven't really asked for much for Christmas this year, because I'm working I just buy everything that I want out of my own money so asking for presents is actually quite difficult! Here are a few bits that I finally came up with. (With nice clear instructions on where to buy them and how to find them online seeing as my mams a MASSIVE technophobe haha)

I've seen this tag doing the rounds on Youtube, I believe it originated from MacBarbie07 (correct me if i'm wrong) and I love love love winter so I figured, let's roll it over into the Blogging world as well seeing as I haven't seen anyone do it on here yet.

1) Favorite Winter Nail Polish?
I love darker colours in the winter, I don't have a specific favourite but I love any type of red.

2) Favorite Winter lip product?
Moisturising lipbalm! I absolutely swear by Carmex, literally my saviour when it comes to winter and the only lipbalm that I've found that actually does what it says it's supposed to.

3) Most worn Winter clothing piece?
I live in scarves, knee high socks and ugg boots in the winter. Every year without fail. I also love chunky knit jumpers and cardigans.

4) Most worn Winter accessory?
Scarves definitely!

5) Favorite winter scent/candle?
Anything peppermint, absolutely love the smell of it.

6) Favorite Winter beverage?
Hot chocolate and more importantly peppermint hot chocolate. Finally got my hands on the Starbucks one this year and I'm addicted.

7) All time favorite Christmas/Holiday movie?
Miracle On 34th Street? I just love all christmas films!

8) Favorite Christmas/Holiday song?
I literally could not just pick one, I absolutely love christmas songs honestly!

9) Favorite Holiday food/treat?
Does chocolate count? All the best ones come out at christmas, I love all the selections you get.

10) What is your favorite Christmas Decoration this year?
I don't think I have a favourite decoration? Though I do love christmas lights, does that count?

11) What's at the top of your Christmas list?
I currently don't have a christmas list and it might be a while until I have one which is a bit insane. Though I would like a Kindle Fire HD or a Tablet of some kind, but I'd rather buy that myself as a January treat (:.

12) What are your plans for the holidays this year?
Just spending time with family and friends as much as I can. And also working, working a lot.

I tag everyone to do this!

Glossy Box day is my second favourite day of every month (payday being the first haha), I get so excited when I know it's on it's way to me because I cannot wait to try out all the new things. And well this month was no exception!

Alison Claire Mango Body Butter;
I literally cannot even begin to explain how amazing this stuff smells, it's like they've just juiced a mango into the tube, it smells edible! And the texture is like silk on my skin, I can definitely see me buying the full size of this! I've only tried it a few times but I have dry skin and it gets worse around winter and this has just made my skin feel so soft and lovely.

Burbery Body Eau de Parfum;
I never expected to like the smell of this, it's very rare that I like the smell of Burberry perfumes and I'm not really sure why. I can definitely see myself wearing this on special occasions to feel ultra sophisticated.

Nails Inc polish in Porchester Square;
This is definitely not a colour that I would wear, I was hoping for the pink but I will try it out and see if I like it.

Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant;
I've not tried this yet but I'm very excited to. My skin is very susceptible to break outs and horribleness in the winter time and I'm hoping this will keep it clear and fresh looking.

Ayurri Indian Rose Face Cream;
I loved loved loved the shower gel from this company from a previous box, so much so that it was gone within about 2 weeks and I'm hoping for nothing but good things from this as well, it smells amazing and i've used it about twice and my face as felt lovely and moisturised.

What did everyone else think of their boxes this month?
