I have never in all my years of wearing makeup ever had as much trouble with it as I have today. I spent ages in both Boots and Superdrug going through every single brand they had and testing all their foundations to match my skin, I'd gotten to the point where I wasn't even bothered about the price, if it matched me I was buying it! But alas that came to an abrupt end when I soon ran out of brands to test on me.
I was never aware of how pale I was until today, literally every single foundation I tested was too dark, too orange, too something or other just not enough to match my skin. Now in the past i've bought foundations and they've just about matched but I've found now that all 'drugstore' foundations just make me orange and make my skin feel awful and I don't get the coverage that I need and right now my skin is going crazy with the weather and I need more than just the 'light' coverage that I'm getting from the 17 BB cream (which is also just that little bit too orangey for my skin tone)
I'm going crazy here, I don't know what to do I don't have an makeup counters near me to go and get matched so I'm kind of at a loss really, I'm tempted to order from Nicola Roberts' Dainty Doll line because I know they'll have one pale enough for me but it's always a risk ordering online and I'm sure I'd begrudge paying £22 and it not matching properly.
Oh my i'm losing my marbles with this predicament!
Oh, I have pretty much the same problem. I can't find a suitable foundation for me from cheaper brands, only Estee Lauder and MAC are good for me.
